I had my last dryer for over 20 years and if I hadnt been moving across country I would have just repaired it again. Instead I replaced both washer and dryer and chose LG after doing research online. I havent had it long so Ive only used it a few times but it worked great I had to was a waterproof blanket that smelled really bad after being in storage. In my old dryer I would set it to use the sensor then Id have to add 20 minutes then Id usually drape it over a chair over night to finish drying. The new dryer has a special setting for waterproof items and it works The blanket came out barely damp. I threw it over a chair just to be sure it was really dry but in less than an hour I was convinced I could safely fold it up. I do think it is noisier than my old dryer but since I have 3 dryer balls in there its going to be noisy anyway. The lint screen cleans really easily and the machine reminds you if it hasnt been done. So far I think I made a good choice.

Dont buy LG poor support poor design not energy efficient. Very misleading marketing to claim energy efficiency when only one cycle is rated that way. Take 90 minutes to wash towels. Dryer designed for wet dry and takes forever to dry. Cusimer support not able to answer questions to support actual model. Products dont have wifi but no one could answer that question since they dont have a manual for my actual product just the series.

The auto dry feature doesnt heat the dryer at all and the manual one almost burns the clothes. It is impossible to get a live person for support because they think a crappy app does the trick. Not a company I trust anymore.
