Have had this washer not quite a year. Pros: Water efficiency is good its cute looking and makes the little melody sounds when it turns on and overall not super loud when its running Cons: Not enough control over what kinds of washes you want to do--theres a shorter cycle but youre limited to a warm or cold wash for instance. And you cant put in a small load if you dont put in enough things it easily gets out of balance and does an error message and/or gets stuck on the spin cycle or something. And theres no middle ground for cycle selection either. Theres the short one or super long ones. I had no idea there would be so little control didnt occur to me from many positive reviews.. I sorely regret getting this machine and wish that repairs had not been priced out of this world and could have just kept old machine. the 80s/90s which just did what you needed. And I dont like that you cant open it up to add something without restarting the whole cycle. Maybe I missed something there but anyway I have been flummoxed at working the controls on it especially at first didnt find them very intuitive. Directions not good surprise surprise. Also I cant get the app to work which would be helpful. Save me a lot of trips up and down two flights of stairs to see if the darn thing turned off because I didnt load enough stuff in it.

LG Quality Troubling Spin Issue

The top load washer will stop an off balance spin and refill to try to float a new balance spin. If that does not work it will repeat the refill over and over again running indefinitely wasting water and possibly an electrical issue. One can not leave machine unattended

We wanted to get rid of our old front loader with its slimy dirty door seal and loud vibrations. Our new LG top loader took care of both problems. So far we have been happy with our new LG washer.

Im in love with my LG washer-dryer set I used to dread the chore of doing laundry because my near-20 yr old washer and dryer were on their last leg. But now laundry is a positive experience So many options available on both machines so easy to use and highly effective at getting things cleaned. My first LG appliance was a refrigerator and once again LG did not disappoint
