The first couple days were worrisome. Knew Id have to prep the house by removing a door and trim the lowest hinge along with some KV shelving and contents just to get the washer into the basement. The delivery guys hooked it up leveled it checked to make sure it was getting water into the tub and were gone taking the old washer with them. I immediatey ran a load from my little bakery. And the machine acted confused extending times and stopping. I coaxed it through by starting in other modes and getting it to spin - I dont remember how. And the next load attempted got the EI error code. And me worrying and wondering what would have to happen next. Lowes service put me in touch with LGs service The woman explained it was a water input problem. She was insistent some imbalance in the line was the likely culprit. By this time Id put the hinge back on the door back up and the shelving up too. I had an investment in finding the cause if it was mine - not having to take everything back down again for replacement. So I looked again and once again. And I spotted a potential culprit - splitters on the line to provide hot and cold water without having to disconnect the hoses. Oh they were both only going to the washer at the moment and shouldnt really affect anything. But Im sure my water pressure is fine. So I took them off and hooked up the washer directly. And threw in a load. Bingo No error code. I wonder if the splitters were what killed the old machine...but if so its for the best. The old machine was an impeller type. This cleans clothes better and more gently. After about a month I couldnt be happier

Nicest washer Ive ever owned First of all I love that it has a clear top and I love watching how it adjusts the laundry and spins them around the agitator in the beginning. Its so neat I also love the little tune that the washer plays at the end of the wash SO much better than listening to the buzzer that I had on my previous washers. My laundry comes out very clean and I love how it adjusts the time of the cycles so that it saves on electricity and water. Perfect washer. I recently purchased an LG electric range and I have an LG refrigerator. LG makes some quality appliances and Im very pleased. Thanks LG

Bought this few months back. Few times we got black grease like stains on our white clothes. LG technician came to look at it but wasnt of much help. I dont think this machine works well in washing. Dryer works fine.
