Bought this a couple of months back. have been running fine. cooling is good. organization of both main compartment shelves as well as freezer section is good. Ice maker a bit noisy, but not to bothersome as the water fill and dispense is where it makes sound and that's infrequent. the new fingerprint resistant finish is different in hue from the previous ones. makes for a slight mismatch if placed next to older appliances already installed.

Our LG died after only 6 years and our repair man suggested whirlpool. This fridge is so well thought out, obviously by someone who cooks. I just hope this one lasts longer.

The refrigerator and it's functionality was great. I dropped it one star, because of two problems. Water filter was missing and the right door was close to an inch lower than the left door. Lowes did send a repair person to shim the right door, but did not send the correct number of shims. Waiting for second repair visit to add the final shim. I also had to purchase a water filter (>$50) and then return to the store for reimbursement. I did not pay what I did for the refrigerator to have the doors uneven.
